Antenatal Education
I am an antenatal educator based in the South Kildare, Carlow and West Wicklow area and one of the founders of the new Athy-Laois Cuidiú branch.
My fully inclusive 2-day group classes will begin in August 2025.
My goal is for parents to leave the classes feeling confident in themselves, supported by the local community, and empowered to choose the birth experience that is right for them.

Guidance
Having a child is an exciting event. When it is your first time, it can be scary and unpredictable. I will be here to provide evidence-based information to help you make informed decisions when it comes to your birth journey.
Wisdom
Experiencing something for the first time means everything is new, and everything is different. What some might say is “normal” might be far from “normal” for you. Wisdom does not come from having a shared experience but by understanding that no experience is the same. As a wise woman, I know that what you are going through is specific to you. I will listen to you and share my wisdom to help you recognise the trust and confidence you have in yourself.
Support
Sitting and having a cup of tea with a friend can help people through the toughest of events. Support is a valuable commodity, and I will help you to find supports to make it through life's challenges and find the joy in parenthood.

Your Local Wise Woman
For the past 20 years, I have worked in the corporate world, while raising three sons (along with my husband) in the beautiful island of Ireland. My husband and I met whilst teaching English on a small island off the coast of South Korea. I have always had a passion for teaching, but life and it's wonderful curve balls led me down a different path. I will say I have gained a lot of knowledge throughout my journey.
I finally found a way to pursue my passion and to support others through life's most exciting, challenging, and rewarding experiences - pregnancy and childbirth - and I started training with Antenatal Ireland in April of 2024.
The name Grati Tamo came from mixing my name - Anna Moore - with the word gratitude.
